Announcing our 30th Anniversary Season

2007-2008 marks the Washington Bach Consort’s 30th anniversary. In celebration, J. Reilly Lewis is presenting a season filled with J.S. Bach’s most beloved works including the B-Minor Mass, Brandenburg Concertos, Christmas Oratorio, and St. Matthew Passion. The subscription series expands from five concerts to six and will be performed in two of the metropolitan area’s most exciting concert venues: The Music Center at Strathmore and the new Harman Center for the Arts. Joining the award-winning chorus and orchestra will be a roster of some of the world’s most renowned vocal soloists including Christine Brandes, William Sharp, Daniel Taylor, Sanford Sylvan, Rufus Müller, and Peter Harvey.
